Dubai-Mubasher: United Kaipara Dairies Co. (UNIKAI) turned losses into profits in the first quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
The DFM-listed company saw net profits of AED 1.14 million ($310,000) in Q1-16, against losses of AED 466,000 ($127,000) in Q1-15.
Revenues stood at AED 69.9 million ($19.01 million) for the period ending in March, a rise of 4.6% from AED 66.8 million ($18.19 million) in the year-ago period.
Cost of sales declined 10% to AED 42.43 million ($11.55 million) in Q1-16, compared to AED 47.07 million ($12.81 million) in Q1-15.
