Cairo – Mubasher: Ajwa Group for Food Industries - Egypt has achieved consolidated net profits of EGP 5.41 million during the first half (H1) of 2021, against net losses of EGP 18.057 million in the year-ago period.
The company's sales reached EGP 806.36 million in H1-21, up from EGP 546.73 million in the corresponding period of the earlier year, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, the company recorded net losses of EGP 9.61 million, compared to EGP 6.72 million in the corresponding period of 2020.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company's standalone net losses shrank by 12.6% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 5.83 million, compared to EGP 6.67 million.
