Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 65 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 28 November 2024.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 35 billion and will mature in 182 days on 3 June 2025, according to official data.
The second auction stood at EGP 30 billion, with a tenor of 364 days until 2 December next year.
On 24 November, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 72 billion through two issues.
