Dubai – Mubasher: Unikai Foods turned to losses in the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same period of last year, according to a statement.
Losses reached AED 9.51 million ($2.59 million) in Q1-17, against profits of AED 1.14 million ($310,300) in Q1-16.
Revenues declined to AED 69.62 million in Q1-17, compared to AED 69.9 million in Q1-16.
Sales costs rose 4.9% to AED 46.31 million in the first three months of 2017, compared to AED 44.14 million in the prior-year period.
Administrative and distribution expenses rose to AED 32.09 million in Q1-17, compared to AED 24.55 million in Q1-16.
