Mubasher: National International Holding Company has reported a 13.4% year-on-year profit decline during the second quarter of the fiscal year 2019, recording KWD 735,130 ($2.42 million).
In the first six months of 2019, the Kuwait- and Dubai-listed company’s profit went down by 4.5% to KWD 1.27 million in H1-19 versus KWD 1.33 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.
The company ascribed the profit decline to the decline in investment revenue and the increase in the cost of finance.
National International Holding reported an 11.1% rise in profits during the first quarter of 2019, registering KWD 534,870 ($1.76 million).
