Mubasher: Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding reported turning to loss for the fourth quarter of 2018, according to the firm’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Monday.
The Qatar-based firm posted losses of QAR 5.39 million ($1.48 million) in the three-month period ended 31 December 2018, compared to a profit of QAR 520,000 ($142,850) in the corresponding period a year earlier.
For the full-year 2018, Dlala Brokerage reported losses of QAR 21.31 million, compared to a profit of QAR 16.65 million in 2017.
Loss per share (LPS) registered QAR 0.75 for the fiscal period ended 31 December 2018, against earnings per share (EPS) of QAR 0.59 in the year-ago period.
During the first nine months of 2018, Dlala Brokerage swung to a loss at QAR 16.06 million, compared to a profit of QAR 16.13 million in the prior-year period.
By 10:18 am Qatar time, Dlala Brokerage’s stock fell 1.93% to QAR 9.27.
